Make London Better

8 12 2009

A new blog kicked off today with a very simple goal, and an even simpler method.

The aim is to Make London Better by asking the people who live there for suggestions. The site is very nicely designed and simple to use. It also has a feature by which people can contact that site to get a version for their local borough, sports club, or society. Simple voting makes the process fast and enjoyable.

This is as simple as crowdsourcing comes. The test will be how many good, implementable ideas can be generated (as opposed to spleen vented), and how seriously the mayor’s office is willing to take them.

Many thanks for your kind words and really glad you like the design of the site

We’re think we’re doing ok on the ideas at the moment, some good ones on there (some fun ones too). Will be interesting to see what else is submitted – I’d like to think a lot will have potential to be implemented.
